Job Description:
As a Site Manager for our automated warehouse build project, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of a cutting-edge facility designed to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and drive business growth. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, project managers, and construction experts to ensure that every aspect of the project aligns with our client’s goals and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, inc. internal & external consultants, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requests promptly through weekly and daily meetings.
  • Production Planning & OHS ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance with local regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage team leads, especially electrical and mechanical teams and supervise a diverse team of contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Manage all on-site activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and resolve project-related challenges, making real-time decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Monitor project progress and report to upper management, highlighting any issues or variances.
  • Oversee the commissioning and testing of automated systems and equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback, lessons learned, and best practices with the team.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of OHS protocols, construction regulations, and quality standards.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager in commercial projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, multitask, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
  • Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • An understanding of electrical systems, automated systems and warehouse logistics is a plus.
